Aims & Scope

The JCF publishes original peer-reviewed research on food and feed safety, animal health, plant protection, genetic engineering, and consumer research. Research papers are published as Research Articles, Reviews, Methods and Short Communications. The JCF also presents Opinion pieces as well Reports about administrative surveillance on the same topics. The JCF is published by the German Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) and is aimed at researchers, risk assessors, policymakers and professionals worldwide.
