Teologia i Człowiek
Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika · Poland · Est. 2007
Aims & Scope
The journal's scope includes presenting contemporary global and national scientific research achievements, showcasing the historical heritage of theology, which as a field of science includes biblical disciplines and all other theological sciences such as patrology, dogmatic theology, fundamental theology, moral theology, spirituality, liturgy, homiletics, catechetics, pastoral theology, Catholic social teaching, and Church history. Since philosophy is at the foundation of theology, the journal also touches upon philosophical issues. Topics from the field of family sciences are also discussed. "Teologia i Człowiek" addresses current pastoral problems and challenges of the Church, as well as issues related to religious, cultural, and social changes occurring in Poland, Europe, and the world. The journal is open to ecumenical, interreligious, and intercultural dialogue. In selecting publications, the editorial team strives to go beyond the Western sphere of civilization. "Teologia i Człowiek" – in line with the journal's profile and title – addresses issues concerning human life, human rights and dignity, the identity of the human person, and the ethics of human action in the light of faith and the Magisterium of the Church. This broad range of topics necessitates inviting representatives from various scientific communities from home and abroad.
