Aims & Scope
Paedagogia Christiana is a pedagogical, international, peer-reviewed, open access, semi-annual journal aiming to contribute the development of the philosophy and theory of education inspired by the theory and practice of Christian education. Articles for publication should relate to philosophical, theological, psychological or sociological foundations of educational philosophy and theory. Empirical research articles are also accepted that relate to Christian education provided by churches, schools and religious movements and associations (in terms of both historical and contemporary practice). The PCh aims to promote a broader understanding of being human, in its humanistic, moral and personalistic dimensions, taking into account a dynamic, developmental and educational aspect of human existence, as well as different socio-cultural contexts in which education is provided. Articles that are accepted are national, international and transnational in scope.
