Aims & Scope
The Croatian Journal of Food Science and Technology (CJFST) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing novel and high-quality research papers that advance the food science and technology. The Aims and Scope are assessed and modified on an annual basis to reflect developments in the field. In addition to research papers, CJFST also publishes Review articles, Preliminary communication articles, Scientific notes, Professional papers and Conference papers. We especially welcome papers related to a wide range of food science and technology topics from Central and Southeast Europe. The scope of the CJFST includes, but is not limited to: Processing of agricultural products and foods; Microbiology and biotechnology; Food quality and safety; Food chemistry and toxicology; Sensory, nutritional and physiological aspects of food; Nutrition; Functional food and nutraceuticals; Food additives; Food packaging, storage and distribution; Food laws and regulations; Food and process engineering; Design and operation of processes; Freshwater science; Environmental science; Separation processes; Biomass and Bio-energy; Waste management.
