Nordisk barnehageforskning (NBF) publiserer originale artikler av høy vitenskapelig kvalitet som utvikler og styrker samtalen om barnehager og barnehagelærerutdanningene i Norden. NBF er et samlingspunkt for barnehageforskningen i Norden, med bred tematisk og metodologisk orientering. Tidsskriftet bidrar til synliggjøring av nordisk barnehageforskning gjennom å kople dem opp mot større nettverk i Norden og i en bredere internasjonal sammenheng.
