Aims & Scope
About the Journal Focus and Scope Polyglot is a scientific journal of language, literature, culture, and education published twice a year by the Faculty of Education at the Teachers College, Universitas Pelita Harapan. The journal aims to disseminate articles of high quality research, book review, or school practice experiences. Polyglot has been published biannually (January and July) since 2006. Peer Review Process Manuscripts submitted will go through the evaluation process with a system of double-blind peer review by reviewers selected by the Editorial Board with at least one of whom is a member of the Editorial Board. Reviewers are appointed under consideration of expertise and suitability to the subject. Results of the evaluation will be communicated within 1-2 months. On the basis of reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the Editorial Board will decide whether the manuscript is accepted without revision, accepted with revisions required, or rejected. The revised manuscript should be returned to the Editorial Board within a predetermined time. Publication Frequency Polyglot is published twice annually in January and July. All submitted manuscripts will be peer reviewed by expert(s) related to the contents of the manuscripts. Because of rigorous and lengthy publication processes, authors should submit their manuscripts six months before the intended publication month. Authors must monitor routinely the processes through their registered accounts. There is no fast track to ensure article quality and professionalism. Open Access Policy This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This access is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher
