E|C publishes papers about various fields of structuralist Semiotics produced by international research groups. The mission of E|C is to contribute to the advancement and dissemination of Semiotics as a theory of signification as well as a critique of the languages of contemporaneity. E|C is four-monthly publication. Each number is monographic and presents the results of semiotic analyses of socio-cultural phenomena such as media, use and practices of space, design, gastronomy, tourism, photography, music, or it discusses theoretical/methodological themes such as narrativity, subjectivity, passionality, aesthetics.
