Aims & Scope
The Revista Mexicana de Historia de la Educación publishes unpublished texts in the field of the history of education for its two sections: Articles and Reviews. The 'Articles' section includes texts resulting from ongoing or completed research, contributions that contribute to serious methodological and theoretical reflection, and historiographical reviews. They must be based on primary sources, supported by updated bibliography, and explicitly present the theoretical-methodological tools used, as well as the main objectives and results of the study. They are characterized by their originality, relevance, significance of findings, handling of specialized theory, methodological rigor, congruence, argumentative clarity, and quality of writing. The 'Reviews' section includes texts that analyze the importance of study sources for the field of the history of education, research experiences, recovery of sources, and construction of educational historical memory. It also includes reviews of books, exhibitions, websites, or other media used in the dissemination and teaching of the history of education.
