Aims & Scope

Nierika is a semiannual publication that brings together peer-reviewed academic articles stemming from research on the history and historiography of art, art theory and criticism, and curatorial, artistic, or restoration projects. It accepts works from both established researchers and emerging scholars. The central interest is to disseminate research work and foster dialogues and reflections based on them at national and international levels. At the same time, we seek to offer the academic and artistic community, as well as the general public, content that allows them to learn about and appreciate art, its expressions, and practices, both from the present and from throughout time. Access to the journal is open and in electronic format, which guarantees wider reach and demonstrates our commitment to building knowledge.
