Aims & Scope
The Carpathian Journal of Food Sciences and Technologypublishes original scientific peer-reviewed double blinded papers that cover all aspects of food science from raw materials through processing and economical aspects up to final products and their nutritional characteristics. Both fundamental and applied research is accepted. - Food Chemistry- Food Processing Technology- Health, Nutrition and Food- Toxicology and Food Safety- Food Biotechnology- Food Analysis- Food Policy- Food Marketing- Consumer Protection- Food PackagingCarpathian Journal of Food Science and Technology not publish papers that included experiments on human subjects. All the papers received in this topic will be rejected before review processTypes of contributionsThe following categories of manuscripts are accepted for publication:- Research Articles- Review Articles- Short Comunication- Editorial Technical NotesResearch Articles:Research articles not exceed 20 pages (Letter format). The research articles should present a complet investigation and conntent all the sections:1. Introduction; 2. Materials and methods; 3. Results and Discussions; 4. Conclusions and 5. References.Longer manuscripts could also be considered but only when based on the amount of important data presented and not on the presentation of insufficient information.Review Articles:Review articles should not exceed 14 pages (Letter format). Review articles should be divided into sections that are relevant to the topic.Short Comunication:Short communications are concise articles that describe scientifically sound research that advances knowledge significantly beyond the current state of the art. Short communications do not need to be divided into titled sections; however, they should start with an abstract (maximum 150 words). They should not exceed 2,500 words (including no more than 15 – 20 references) and contain no more than 3 figures and/or tables).Editorial Technical Notes:Technical notes are concise, peer-reviewed article
