Aims & Scope

Ars Educandi is a broad platform for critical reflection on contemporary education, culture, and society. Its primary goal is to disseminate the results of scientific research. The thematic scope of published texts covers social sciences – primarily pedagogy, sociology, history, cultural studies, as well as philosophy, psychology, communication and art sciences, political science, and anthropology. The main task of the journal is maintained in the spirit of Gdańsk pedagogy: we create an open, categorically pulsating space for dialogue for researchers who look at educational processes critically, interdisciplinarily, taking into account diverse axiological and methodological orientations. We are particularly interested in new, emerging, and insufficiently problematized phenomena, considered difficult or sensitive, which, for example, fall within the scope of cultural studies of technology, game studies, or new cultural studies.
