Aims & Scope

Pustaka Karya: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi is a multidisciplinary journal in the national level that covered many main problems in the library and information science. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts and ideas or research results that have been achieved in the area of library and information science as follows: 1. Theoretical and general aspects of libraries and information; 2. Information use; 3. Users, literacy and reading; 4. Libraries as physical collections; 5. Publishing and legal issues; 6. Library management; 7. Industry, profession and education in LIS; 8. Information sources, supports, channels; 9. Information treatment for information services; 10. Technical services in libraries, archives, museum; 11. Information technology and library technology; 12. New information media studies; 13. Library and information with islamic studies approach; 14. Library and information with social science approach.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
