Dicho material está relacionado con ámbitos educativos y de investigación en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las ciencias naturales (física, química, biología, astronomía) y las matemáticas. Desde su nacimiento en el año 2006, la revista se ha consolidado como un escenario de fortalecimiento de la comunidad académica de profesores de ciencias naturales tanto en formación como en ejercicio profesional en los diferentes niveles educativos.
