Inquietude
Universidade Federal de Goiás · Brazil · Est. 2010
Aims & Scope
Inquietude is a scientific journal published by students of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Philosophy at the Federal University of Goiás. It is a biannual scientific journal (Jan./Jun. & Jul./Dec.) that, in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), publishes unpublished philosophical texts: articles, translations, reviews, and interviews. The journal aims to value student philosophical production. Created in 2010, the journal provides a space for students to make their research public, filling a gap in the national academic landscape due to the scarcity of journals with this profile. However, the journal is open to the publication of research at any academic level, including faculty and/or specialists from other areas willing to broaden the philosophical debate. With consolidated experience in supporting (inter)national scientific events and research groups from various states in Brazil, Inquietude partners with organizations of philosophical congresses and research group leaders for the creation of special dossiers, published in thematic editions. Inquietude is actively engaged in the philosophical academic environment, participating in various activities related to its area, from interviews granted to TV programs to round tables at congresses to discuss relevant issues concerning the publication of philosophical material.
