Aims & Scope
Revista Derecho en Sociedad has as its purpose to promote a culture of research in the university community in the field of Law, understood as this science in its broadest sense, that is, in the impact of "the legal" on society, hence its name: "Law in Society" and opening permanent spaces for the dissemination of knowledge, not only by the teaching staff, but also by those who, pursuing advanced studies in their careers, wish to initiate research for the dissemination and socialization of knowledge. It is a semiannual, free, and open-access electronic publication. Its scope is interdisciplinary, taking as a starting point the study of law and its implications in society, as well as topics related to other areas of social sciences, such as international relations, political science, public administration, sociology, and anthropology, among others. The contents of the journal are aimed at both the university community and professionals seeking to learn about current topics affecting law and society, and thus expand their knowledge of law and social sciences with avant-garde approaches. Particular emphasis will be given to reflections framed within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal publishes scientific articles related to original and applied research in the field of law and social sciences.
