Aims & Scope
Comillas Journal of International Relations is a scientific journal with a quarterly periodicity published as an Open Access Journal by the Department of International Relations (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. The journal follows strict rules in its editorial process that guarantee the excellence and relevance of the texts published in it. Comillas Journal of International Relations seeks to be a publication that, with the utmost academic rigor, provides a valuable service to society in a world that is not only globalized but also troubled. It also aims to be an effective tool for the integral formation of students at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, especially those linked to the degree in International Relations, in its various combinations offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at our University. The central themes of the journal include diplomacy in its new facets and typologies (Public Diplomacy, transformational diplomacy…), international politics and security, development cooperation, and the history of international relations. Issues related to regional scope, geopolitics, terrorism, energy, or globalization are also areas on which Comillas Journal of International Relations focuses its attention.
