Aims & Scope

The journal publishes theoretically and empirically research on all topics of theatre, drama, cinema, radio, classical and contemporary music, traditional Persian music, performing arts, new media, aesthetics, art philosophy and pedagogy. The journal introduces a wide range of performing art and recorded art topics with historical and contemporary perspectives. Accepted papers often reflect critical and comparative analysis. Our target audience include academicians, art educators, students, and artistic and performing communities at large. The submitted papers will be published after peer review and upon the approval of the editorial board. Journal of Fine Arts was originally published in 1995 to cover all aspects of art and was divided into three journals in 2009 with Journal of Fine Arts: Performing Arts and Music focusing on performing arts and music. Researchers may directly visit this site, register, submit and set up their papers based on author’s guidelines. This journal is known as "Honar-Ha-ye-Ziba: Honar-Ha-ye-Namayeshi va Moosighi" in the Persian language.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
