Mimesis Journal
Accademia University Press · Italy · Est. 2012
Aims & Scope
The journal "Mimesis Journal" publishes twice a year (June and December), alternating thematic and miscellaneous issues. The subtitle "Scritture della performance" indicates that it brings together authors from different countries and generations, academics, artists, and researchers, interested in the present and future of theatre and performing arts – encompassing modernity and contemporaneity, as well as the most advanced research and theories of the present – from a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary perspective, thus not exclusively historiographical but oriented phenomenologically. The journal is divided into three sections: “Essays”, “Points of View”, and “Readings and Visions”.
