Aims & Scope
Jurnal Pendidikan Sains Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarangis an interdisciplinary forum for the publication of original peer-reviewed, contributed and invited research articles. Our journal is to provide an international forum for the sharing, dissemination, discussion of research, experience and perspectives across a wide range of education teaching.This journal publishes original research articles and comprehensive literature reviews addressing contemporary issues in science education, including chemistry education, physics education, and biology education. The journal aims to serve as a significant scholarly platform for advancing the principles and practices of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in response to complex global challenges related to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:(1)integration of ESDprinciples in science education curricula and instruction;(2) development ofsustainability literacy and science literacy;(3)contextual and issue-based learninggrounded in environmental and socio-scientific problems;(4) ESD-oriented learning models, pedagogical approaches, and instructional strategies;(5) development ofESD-related competencieswithin science education;(6)assessment and evaluationof sustainability-oriented science learning outcomes;(7) utilization ofeducational technology and digitalmedia to support ESD; and(8) teacherprofessional development and policystudies related to sustainable science education.
