Aims & Scope

JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) is a scientific journal that is managed by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, and published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya in collaboration with Perkumpulan Pendidik IPA Indonesia (PPII). JPPIPA is published periodically (twice a year) in June and December. JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) publishes articles from empirical studies (experiment papers) and literature review papers. Scope of JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) is articles in the field of natural science education and science including: Innovation of natural science Learning; Assessment and evaluation in natural science learning;  Media of natural science learning; Conceptions and misconceptions in natural science learning; Natural science learning philosophy and curriculum; and Psychology in natural science education. Philosophy and theory of nature sciences, physics, biology, biophysics, chemistry, and earth sciences.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
