Tidsskrift for Professionsstudier
Aarhus University · Denmark · Est. 2014
Aims & Scope
Tidsskrift for Professionsstudier is a scientific, open access and peer-reviewed journal that provides a common, Nordic forum for educators and researchers from both professional colleges and universities, where high-quality articles are published and archived together. TfP focuses on the special conditions of professions and education – societal, cultural, ethical, organizational, political, and knowledge-based. TfP does not represent one theoretical school or tradition, but aims to promote exchange and cooperation between researchers, educators, and professionals working with different profession-oriented themes. TfP's overall goal is to cast a critical light on the entire professional field and stimulate curiosity, reflexivity, and debate in the professional research and education environments. TfP is typically organized into thematic issues, but also welcomes unsolicited articles, which are published in a 'Outside the theme' section. TfP also includes a critical review section with current and important book publications within the professional field and also a section with presentations of recent PhD dissertations. Articles for TfP can be written in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish, and efforts are made to ensure a broad Scandinavian spread in the editorial board, authors, and peer reviewers.
