Aims & Scope

JURNAL EDUCATIO: Jurnal Pendidikan Indonesia is a academic journal dedicated to publishing research articles, theoretical analyses, and innovative practices in the fields of education, social sciences, and the humanities. The journal welcomes manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of educational theory, pedagogy, curriculum development, and learning practices across early childhood, primary, secondary, and higher education. It also embraces studies on 21st-century learning skills, character education, socio-emotional learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy. In line with current global trends, the journal provides a platform for research on educational technology, digital innovation, e-learning, mobile learning, blended learning, AI-based instructional systems, interactive media, gamification, and virtual or augmented reality applications in education. Furthermore, EDUCATIO invites scholarly work in guidance and counseling, educational psychology, mental health in schools, and student well-being, including studies on assessment, intervention models, neurocounseling, and the development of psychological measurement instruments. Research related to special education and inclusive practices—such as teaching strategies for diverse learners, curriculum adaptations, assistive technologies, and inclusive school culture—is also within its scope. The journal publishes work on assessment and evaluation in education, covering instrument development, psychometric validation, program evaluation, authentic assessment, and technology-based assessment systems. In addition to educational studies, the journal accommodates interdisciplinary research from the social sciences and humanities that provide meaningful insights for understanding educational phenomena, including anthropology, sociology, economics, communication studies, history, law, linguistics, management, international relations, political science, gender studies, and social work. Investigations into educational administration, leadership, policy, reform, quality assurance, and institutional governance are also encouraged. The journal further supports research on community education, empowerment programs, lifelong learning, non-formal and informal education, and literacy development across digital, financial, environmental, and social dimensions. Through this broad and integrative scope, EDUCATIO positions itself as a comprehensive forum for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers striving to improve the quality and relevance of education in contemporary society.
