Aims & Scope
The IJCER (International Journal of Chemistry Education Research) aims to serve as an international platform for the publication of original research papers, innovative approaches, and theoretical studies in science education — particularly in chemistry education , but also encompassing biology education, physics education, mathematics education, and science education fields with global relevance. Through a rigorous peer-review process, IJCER seeks to advance scholarly communication that bridges educational practices and research across diverse cultures, contexts, and countries. The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts focusing on (but not limited to) the following areas: Science and Mathematics Education (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics) – including curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment, teacher professional development, laboratory and field-based learning, conceptual understanding, digital and technology-assisted learning, problem-solving pedagogy, STEM/STEAM integration, and interdisciplinary approaches across chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics education. Science Education (General) – interdisciplinary STEM/STEAM education, scientific literacy, inquiry-based learning, socio-scientific issues, and integration of educational technology in science teaching. Educational Technology and Innovation – AR/VR for science learning, mobile learning, simulations, AI-supported learning environments, and adaptive or personalized learning technologies. General and Interdisciplinary Education – teaching strategies, curriculum evaluation, educational policy related to science education, and cross-disciplinary educational approaches. Global and Comparative Studies – international collaborations, cross-cultural educational contexts, global science education challenges, and comparative studies among different countries.
