Aims & Scope

Journal of Foreign Language Researchhas devoted itself to the publication of research studies conducted by applied linguists in the fields of language teaching, testing, and learning, as well as translation. By providing a dynamic forum for the communication of original ideas, innovative methods, and novel theoretical and/or practical research findings in the foregoing fields,JFLRis resolved to serve a crucial role in the mobilisation of the academic society and the broadening of its readers’ knowledge about the above-mentioned disciplines. All manuscripts submitted via our online submission system undergo a double-blind peer review process.Journal of Foreign Language Researchwelcomes manuscripts that come under the critical scrutiny of scholars for the first time, putting into practice quantitative and qualitative data acquired through compound data collection methods.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
