Aims & Scope

Debates por la Historia is a semiannual electronic journal specializing in topics of the history of education with an emphasis on studies about ideas, processes, institutions, and subjects of education. Its objective is the publication of original and unpublished articles and reviews in Spanish, English, French, and Polish, which must be the total or partial results of research in the area, as well as theoretical-methodological reflections that contribute to the discussion and generation of knowledge in the regional, national, and international sphere. Debates por la historia is edited and published by the Academic Body CA-UACH-111. History and Historiography of Education, attached to the Secretariat of Research and Postgraduate Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. As an editorial body, it aims to contribute to dialogue and debate, as well as to free access to scientific production in the social sciences, emphatically within the educational field and its historical and historiographical aspects.
