Aims & Scope
Immunometabolism (ISSN: 2633-0407) is a quarterly international open-access peer-reviewed journal reporting latest advances in a rapidly expanding field of investigation linking the disciplines of immunology (including immune cell function) and metabolism (including metabolic regulation). In this new journal, we aim to publish articles that describe molecular processes that impact health through cross talk between metabolic and immune function. The underlying basic mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications will be a focus. Topics include but are not limited to: β’ Infection and host metabolic adaptations β’ Chronic inflammation and metabolic disease β’ Metabolic regulation and disruption in immune cells β’ Metabolic aspects of Cancer immunity and immunotherapy β’ Metabolic aspects of Neurodegeneration and inflammation β’ Nutrient sensing and microbiome-host interactions
