Aims & Scope
Strides in Development of Medical Education Journal (SDME) publishes research on medical education including the developments in teaching approaches, methods and other related topics. SDME is the official journal of the Department of Vice-Chancellery for Education, Kerman University of Medical Sciences. It is an Open Access and double-blind peer-reviewed journal. The journal aims to address the needs of administrators and teachers involved in training for undergraduate, postgraduate, faculty development and continuing education. SDME attempts to promote the quality of medical education and help teachers keep up-to-date with developments in educational methods and other related topics. The journal accepts original articles, case studies, practical guidelines, reviews of current literature, short communications, letter to editors and commentaries from all over the world. Geographical coverage including coverage of the poorest countries and low- and middle- income countries is a priority at the Strides in Development of Medical Education Journal (SDME).
