Aims & Scope

The concept of Halal transcends borders and cultures. It holds significance for Muslims and non-Muslims alike. The issue of halal has become a global trend and is no longer limited to Muslims and certain religions but is related to lifestyle. The halal lifestyle refers to consuming halal products in goods and services that adhere to Islamic law (sharia). Therefore, halal products rely not only on halal food but also on tourism, finance, cosmetics, medicine, medical services, education, fashion, logistics, and arts and culture. Indonesian Journal of Halal Research aims to serve as a global hub for research on Halal practices, facilitating cross-cultural dialogue and understanding and addressing the global implications of Halal certification and standards. The research published in the Indonesian Journal of Halal Research offers valuable insights for scholars, policymakers, businesses, and the wider community. It informs decision-making, encourages best practices, and drives innovation within the Halal industry. Indonesian Journal of Halal Research is a premier scholarly publication dedicated to advancing the understanding and exploration of halal-related topics, practices, and industries. By making our journal freely accessible, we aim to reach a global audience and contribute to the global discourse on Halal matters. We provide a platform for researchers from different parts of the world to connect and share their insights, disseminate their findings and insights, promote the growth and development of the global halal ecosystem, encourage collaboration between researchers from diverse backgrounds, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and a more comprehensive understanding of Halal practices and their implications. The journal covers issues such as: Halal Food and Products Halal Medicine Halal Tourism Halal Lifestyle Halal Education Halal Management Halal Industry The theoretical halal and the current issues of applied halal are also welcome.
