Aims & Scope

Przegląd Krytyczny is a scientific journal published at the Faculty of Sociology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, in cooperation with the Sociological Committee of the Poznań Society of Friends of Sciences. The journal publishes articles, interviews, reviews, and polemics from the field of social and human sciences, with a clearly critical provenance. Texts oriented theoretically, as well as based on empirical research (quantitative and/or qualitative) should be characterized by a critical approach to the existing social reality and the prevailing paradigms of scientific practice. The main task of the journal is the broadest possible exchange of thoughts and views related to the critical approach to dominant social orders in their normative and objective dimensions, as well as creating a platform for exchanging views related to marginalized actors and discourses (including ethnic minorities, indigenous communities, social margins, disability studies, postcolonialism, human rights, childhood studies, feminism, critique of capitalism, consumerism, heterodox economics, critical discourse analysis, critical pedagogy, the facade of democracy, genocide studies, climate change).
