Aims & Scope

Ekonomi Maliye İşletme Dergisi (EMID) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to publish high-quality, original research in the fields of economics, public finance, and applied business. The journal aims to contribute to the international academic literature by disseminating studies that offer strong theoretical insights, robust empirical evidence, and clear policy implications. EMID particularly encourages research that addresses contemporary economic and financial issues with rigorous methodological approaches. The journal also aims to support academic dialogue between researchers by providing a platform for studies that contribute to both theory and practice in economics and related fields. Ekonomi Maliye İşletme Dergisi (EMID) covers original research articles in the following areas: - Economics (macro and microeconomics, development economics) - Public finance and fiscal policy - Financial systems and financial markets - Applied business and management studies - Empirical research on emerging and developing economies - Political economy and applied economic analysis The journal accepts quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method studies, provided that they demonstrate methodological rigor, analytical depth, and a clear contribution to the international literature. Interdisciplinary studies are considered only when they maintain a strong and explicit connection to economics or public finance.
