Aims & Scope
The main objective of Translation Researches in the Arabic Language and Literature is to provide an intellectual platform for national and international researchers to discuss their most recent findings related to Arabic language, literature and translation. By doing so, the journal hopes to improve the status of the field in Iran and in the world and to find solutions to theoretical and practical problems the profession is faced with. To serve this purpose, researchers are encouraged to submit their unpublished, original, full-length papers for potential publication in the journal. The journal is set to publish original articles on a wide range of issues including; Arabic translation studies Arabic language and literature Arabic comparative studies Literary criticism Quran textual studies To let individual researchers and libraries have access to the most recent research findings in the field, the journal allows open-access to its articles. This journal utilizes the Magiran and Noormags preservation systems to create a distributed archiving system for individual and libraries and to permit libraries stakeholders to create permanent archives of the journal. The main goal of the journal of Translation Research in Arabic Language and Literature is to provide and intellectual environment for national and international researchers to discuss their latest findings in relation to Arabic Language and literature. Therefore, it is hoped that this publication will improve the status of this field in Iran and the world and provide solutions for theoretical and practical issues facing this field. In order to achieve this goal, we encourage researchers to submit their valid and unpublished articles for publication in this journal. Articles are prioritized for publication that are more related to translation studies (translation technique, translation theories and their comparison, translation workshop discussions, such as the discussion of editing in translation, machine translation, literary translation, translation criticism criteria, met textual factors in translation, etc.) and language essays that are related to translation (new words and the process of terminology in translation work, word selection in translation, semiotics in translation and etc.). of course, these articles must have strong and significant theoretical foundations and be based on translation theories and be so-called “theory-oriented”. The discussion of translation from Persian to Arabic which is called “ تعریب ” should not be neglected. The magazine will give a special welcome to the articles that deal with this field and tell the problems of this skill; Tips that help professors and students have a better understanding of press, legal, fiction, etc. These articles will also help the process of writing in Arabic or the so-called essay. We are impatiently waiting for such articles from researchers and professors with experience in this field and we prioritize them. It is natural that these articles should also be “theory oriented” and have solid theoretical foundations. Professors and students of Arabic translation, especially at the master’s and doctorate level, are facing difficulties in preparing resources for course headings and side studies, and this journal is the best place to present research efforts in this field. Therefore, we should raise the scientific level of this journal so much that its articles are a teaching resource in translation classrooms. We request the researchers in this field to submit their articles to us for publication, and we will show such essays in the journal in a hurry. The journal is excused from accepting articles that only mention the shortcomings of translation because these articles often lack theoretical foundations and have no specific purpose other than criticizing the translations and will not contain a specific specific scientific result. These articles, which are in the field of translation criticism, can only have scientific validity if they have been criticized based on the theoretical foundations of translation. Another problem with such articles is that the author mentions theoretical bases and then complains about the translation. That is, the theoretical foundations and the comparative discussion of the article are two independent parts. While matching should be based on fundamentals. Research background is of special importance and shows the author’s research ability. Reviewers who have a scientific view first read the abstract, then the background of the research, and finally the result to know at what level of value and research it is, then they read the text of the article. So pay special attention to the research background.
