Aims & Scope

The journal "Aquatic Animals Nutrition" covers topics related to the nutrition of all farmed and non-farmed aquatic animals. The scope of these topics ranges from the study of aquaculture projects on a commercial scale to laboratory studies of nutrition and physiology, as well as the nutrition of aquatic animals in natural environments. Furthermore, this journal includes findings related to carcass quality and the nutritional value of fishery products related to nutrition. Subject areas include basic nutrition knowledge and nutritional requirements of different aquatic species, relationships between nutrition and environmental effects of aquaculture, relationships between nutrition and processing, product quality, and consumers, improving aquaculture management through optimal nutrition and understanding related changes in aquatic animals and the aquatic environment, feed formulation in aquaculture through increasing knowledge, improving techniques, tools, and related topics, nutritional conditions of aquatic animals in natural environments and life cycles, enhancing the health and physiological condition of fish through optimizing aquatic animal diets, and understanding the nutritional value of aquatic products and the effect of different storage materials and conditions on their quality.
