Aims & Scope

The journal aims to publish original, innovative, and critical scientific studies in the field of Social and Human Sciences. Published twice a year (June and December), it is a peer-reviewed publication that provides a platform for discussion of research based on scientific methods and techniques, and for contributing to the field. The journal is published online, is open-access, and uses an independent, double-blind peer-review process. Academic works in Turkish and English are accepted. Submitted works must not have been previously published and must not be under review in another publication. Works that meet the writing guidelines and the journal's scope are subject to scientific evaluation by two expert referees in the field. The journal covers the social sciences, encompassing economics, business and management sciences, political science and public administration, international relations, finance, labor economics and industrial relations, sociology, communication, gastronomy and tourism, as well as social policy, public policies, local and regional development, urban studies, and interdisciplinary research within the social sciences. Within this framework, original scientific studies of a theoretical and applied nature in the social and humanities fields are considered. The journal publishes research articles, reviews, case analyses, and conceptual studies. It is essential that the studies adhere to scientific methods and ethical principles, are original, and contribute to the field.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
