Nordisk Tidsskrift for Oversettelses- og Tolkeforskning
NTNU Open Access Journals · Norway
Aims & Scope
Nordisk tidsskrift for oversettelses- og tolkeforskning (NTOT) is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to make knowledge relevant for researchers, translation and interpretation educators, students and professional translators and interpreters, and others working with translation and interpretation accessible. The journal was founded by the Norwegian Association for Translation and Interpretation Research. We accept theoretical, methodological or empirically oriented research articles focusing on translation (e.g. literary translation, academic translation, audiovisual translation, machine translation) or interpretation (e.g. between spoken languages, between signed languages, between spoken and signed languages, consecutive or simultaneous interpretation). We also accept reviews of academic books in these fields. Contributions concerning translation and/or interpretation within a Nordic context are particularly welcome, but we are open to accepting contributions from other geographical contexts. With the journal, we aim to support Nordic terminology in the field and publish articles in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. Contributions in other Nordic languages (including minority languages) will be considered.
