The Journal of Perspectives in Applied Academic Practice is an open access e-journal of research and practice development in higher and further education. The Journal provides a supportive publishing outlet for new authors to contribute to the scholarly discourse of academic practice in their discipline. As such the Journal is aimed at providing support for new authors and those publishing on the topic of academic practice for the first time. Our open peer reviewed Journal promotes evidence-based academic practice through the publication of papers that are theory-based and supported by evidence. The themes of the Journal reflect the breadth of perspectives in academic practice through a wide variety of disciplinary lenses.
