Aims & Scope

The scope of REM comprises investigations situated in the Human and Social Sciences, as well as studies related to the Teaching of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, with an emphasis on pedagogical approaches, formative processes, and theoretically grounded educational practices. REM publishes original contributions that promote the advancement of knowledge in the educational field, including: Original empirical research in the field of Education and Teaching; Studies on the development, analysis, or implementation of educational products, provided they are linked to research in the educational field; Analytical reports of pedagogical experiences developed in real contexts, based on consistent theoretical frameworks and accompanied by critical analysis of planning, implementation, and results; Systematic or analytical review articles, with a minimum temporal scope of five (5) years, which explicitly present the theoretical framework and methodological procedures for analysis; Theoretical research that contributes to conceptual or methodological advancement in the educational field. Didactic proposals without research links and works based exclusively on surveys of opinions, perceptions, or numerical data without scientific analysis are not considered for evaluation.
