Aims & Scope
MedEdPublish is an international, open access journal for academics, teachers, clinicians, researchers and students in medical and health professions education. The Journal is hosted on an innovative open access platform enabling a transparent publication process. MedEdPublish aims to provide a source of up-to-date global publications from the expanding field of healthcare professions education by offering rapid publication and robust and transparent peer review following publication . Articles are not judged for acceptance on their significance or potential impact, and we accept replication/confirmatory studies and negative findings. The aim of the Journal is to stimulate discussion amongst the health professions education community and to inform education theory, pedagogy and practice. The Journal also aims to connect teachers, assessors, evaluators, curriculum developers, researchers, managers and students across the world in an open learning environment. MedEdPublish offers a range of article types including research articles, case studies, practical tips, new educational method articles, systematic reviews, brief reports, and opinion articles. The platform also provides the option to publish non-peer reviewed materials including technical reports, training materials, posters, slides, and other documents. We accept articles on any topic or theme across the undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing phases of education in the healthcare professions, including, but not limited to: Curriculum planning Learning outcomes Teaching and learning methods Assessment Admissions and selection Education management Faculty development CME/CPD
