Aims & Scope
The journal focuses on the following topics, but is not limited to, the following areas: 1. Theory and practice in English language teaching and learning, with emphasis on classroom-based or field research; 2. Teaching English as a second or foreign language (TESL/TEFL) through empirical investigation and pedagogical innovation; 3. English language teacher training and education, including studies on teacher development, classroom practices, and professional identity grounded in empirical evidence. Jo-ELT does not consider purely conceptual, theoretical, or library-based papers that do not include primary data.
