Aims & Scope

Zbiór Wiadomości do Antropologii Muzealnej (ZWAM) jest czasopismem otwartym na teksty będące pogłębioną interpretacją zjawisk muzealnych. Publikujemy artykuły, które ukazują muzea i ich funkcjonowanie w szerszej, także interdyscyplinarnej perspektywie, napisane przez specjalistów z zakresu etnologii, sztuki, zarządzania, prawa, socjologii, historii czy filozofii. Inicjujemy antropologiczne debaty na temat muzeum jako zjawiska kulturowego przy zastosowaniu metodologii właściwej etnologii i antropologii kulturowej do badania muzeum - jego obiektów i pracowników. Zbieramy także opisy i komentarze (w formie recenzji) na temat konkretnych dobrych i złych praktyk muzealnych w postaci wystaw, inicjatyw edukacyjnych, konferencji, wydawnictw. Pismo inspiruje i zachęca do stałej współpracy pomiędzy antropologami z uniwersytetów i muzeów.
