Aims & Scope
Anadolu University Journal of Education Faculty (AUJEF) is an international, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarship in educational sciences. The journal aims to advance knowledge in educational sciences by publishing original, timely, and methodologically rigorous research that contributes to educational theory, policy, and practice. While the journal welcomes submissions from the broader field of education, it gives particular emphasis to teacher education and to studies that examine the preparation, professional development, practices, identities, and experiences of teachers across diverse educational contexts. The journal is especially interested in manuscripts that offer clear conceptual, empirical, or methodological contributions to major areas of educational research, including curriculum and instruction, learning and teaching, assessment and evaluation, educational psychology, educational leadership, inclusive education, language education, educational technology, and other interdisciplinary issues relevant to educational processes and outcomes. AUJEF seeks to foster international scholarly dialogue by publishing research that is not only methodologically sound but also intellectually meaningful and relevant to contemporary educational challenges. The journal values contributions that generate new insights, strengthen evidence-based educational practice, and enrich ongoing discussions in teacher education and the wider field of educational sciences. In this respect, AUJEF aims to connect local and regional educational concerns with broader international debates and research agendas. The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts based on quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research designs. It also considers systematic reviews, meta-analyses, meta-syntheses, and other review studies that make a substantial contribution to the literature. Conceptual and argumentative papers may be considered when they present a strong theoretical contribution and demonstrate clear relevance to the field. Although AUJEF values diverse forms of scholarly inquiry, priority is given to original research articles.
