Aims & Scope
The FLTMAG is a free language technology magazine that publishes articles on topics such as AI, artificial intelligence, refugee youth, YPAR, interpretation, translation, generative AI, prompting, teachers, speech to text, transcription, digital storytelling, planetarium, course objectives, learning objectives, objectives, virtual reality, VR, chatbots, and technology. It encourages submissions from language teachers, language center directors and staff, and language technology coordinators. The journal aims to be less formal than traditional academic publications, with a conversational style and a focus on the author's voice, student feedback, and reflections. It welcomes humor and direct quotes. The journal also publishes technology highlights, reviews of new and emerging technologies, and '5 Takeaways' pieces summarizing key ideas from other texts.
