Aims & Scope

Women, Education, and Social Welfare is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes interdisciplinary research connecting gender, human factors and ergonomics, and development to strengthen evidence-based practice and policy in education and social welfare. The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical papers, and applied research that examine women’s experiences, equity, inclusion, wellbeing, and empowerment across learning environments, workplaces, and welfare services, with particular attention to human-centered design, usability, accessibility, safety, workload, and human–technology interaction as determinants of service quality and development outcomes. Published biannually, the journal invites submissions from researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working in gender studies, education, ergonomics/human factors, social work, public health, and development
