Education and Treatment of Children focuses on behavior-analytic assessment and intervention research for at-risk or emotionally/behaviorally challenged children and youth. An official journal of the Association for Behavior Analysis in Practice Emphasizes work relevant to schools or other educational or treatment contexts. Accepts a wide variety of submissions including empirical research, data-based case studies, literature reviews, issue-oriented papers, and book reviews. Encourages clear, concise composition of manuscripts for understanding of both scientists and practitioners. Prefers experimental studies that demonstrate the usefulness of the procedure, a functional relation between procedure and behavior changes, and evidence that the variables were reliable
