Aims & Scope
The aim of Turkish Online Journal of Distance Education (TOJDE) is to contribute to distance education literature with scholarly and academic perspectives and research in the field of distance education or related fields. It aims to inform research, policy and practice of distance education with rigorous research, conceptual and theoretical papers. The Turkish Online Journal of Distance Education (TOJDE) is a peer-reviewed quarterly e-journal. International in scope, this scholarly e-journal publishes refereed articles focusing on the issues and challenges of providing theory, research, and information services regarding all forms and methods of distance education, open learning applications or related approaches. TOJDE particularly strives to meet the continuing education needs of practitioners, educators and policy makers by providing a forum for the discussion of extended learning strategies, policies and practices, and trends in information technologies as they all impact the field of distance education or related fields. Articles may be theoretical, philosophical and/or empirical analyses of distance education/open learning and teaching issues, and may take the form of case studies, research studies or general interest reports. Book reviews, literature reviews are welcome.
