This journal publishes scholarly articles and essays that critically examine issues in higher education learning and teaching. A central and repeatedly evidenced theme across recent articles is the multifaceted nature of trust within academic contexts, including trust between students and lecturers, trust in academic integrity, trust in feedback processes, trust in research relationships, and trust in the adoption of educational resources. The journal also addresses the impact of generative AI, neoliberalism, and systemic inequalities on teaching and learning environments.
