Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Research in STEM Education (IJRSE) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance multidisciplinary research and development in STEM education . The journal publishes empirical studies , conceptual analyses , model development , instructional innovations , and systematic reviews that integrate subject-matter expertise , educational , and technological perspectives . IJRSE provides a scholarly platform for researchers and educators to disseminate research on the design and implementation of technology-enhanced learning environments , innovative pedagogical approaches , and curriculum development in STEM education . The journal addresses teaching and learning processes across diverse educational contexts , including teacher education and related professional learning settings. Contributions are welcomed from scholars across STEM disciplines — natural sciences , technology , engineering , and mathematics —as well as from the broader fields of science education and mathematics education . Submitted works may explore issues related to student learning and achievement , learner engagement and motivation , assessment and evaluation practices , and evidence-based curriculum and instructional innovation in STEM education. In addition, IJRSE encourages translational STEM education research that bridges empirical research , educational policy , and classroom practice , contributing to the improvement of STEM education systems in diverse global contexts . The journal also publishes high-quality scholarly reviews , including systematic reviews and meta-analyses , that synthesize current knowledge and emerging trends in STEM education research .
