Aims & Scope
The journal aims to disseminate high-quality empirical and theoretical research in the fields of Media Technology, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), and Education. OLER publishes original studies that explore the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of digital and interactive technologies to support online and technology-enhanced learning. Emphasis is placed on instructional media, digital culture in education, user experience design, multimodal interaction, and the role of HCI in shaping learner engagement, collaboration, motivation, and learning outcomes in diverse educational contexts. The journal also considers studies on offline teaching and learning that address significant educational challenges, although this represents a minor focus of the journal.
